Our tents are down in that circus some place
Good to stay put for a day, well from a automobile
perspective anyway - After breakfast at camp, we caught the shuttle to the main
event venue and found our spot on the lawn.
The plan for the day was to take in a few artists in the
morning and head out for a hike before lunch.
I could tell as soon as we sat down for the first set that it was going
to be a scorcher, so getting off the lawn and onto the trail for a while would
be good.
With full water bottles and some trail bars in our pack, we
headed up the trail to the waterfall. I
was concerned that the elevation would effect me, not having run in over a week
and starting at 8725 - feed and heading up another 1050 feet. All I could think about as we headed up the
trail was - where is the next obstacle? - think Tough Mudder : ) and I can say that no potion of the hike
today was as steep as the average trail we did at Mt. Snow for the Tough
Mudder, so it was more like a stroll in the woods compared to that. We reached the waterfall.

When we arrived back at the venue just in time to see Bela
Fleck & Abigail Washburn take the stage.
Again the sun was pretty intense, but there was this wonderful cloud train
that was coming over the mountain and gave us frequent and welcome relief. We enjoyed a selection New Belgian beers and
Asian dumplings and hand made crepes.
The beer and food are all reasonably priced and really good
quality.
No car news today except the Amazon spotting by Joe on a
walk through town
